We also send home midterm grades via email. If you don't have email, we will send home a paper copy.
If you have email, but are receiving a paper copy,
please contact Teresa in the Middle School office with your email address.
Throughout the year we ask the students to reflect on their progress.
They look at their grade and the number of missing or late assignments.
Then they reflect on the following:
How did I earn this grade?
How does it make me feel?
What is one thing I do well in this class?
What is one thing I need to improve on?
How has my behavior been?
What grade would I like to earn, and how am I going to work to succeed at this goal?
At the end of each grading period,
the students set goals not only for the grade they would like to achieve,
but also for their overall participation and improvement in each class.
